Women who are happy, live longer.
So maybe this is not completely the case. But there is a lot of truth for the roll being happy plays in your over health, if it is your mental, emotional as well as physical.
Laughter is good for the soul, Laughter is the best medicine, how many times have we heard these saying? Personally I have heard them all my life. Studies have proven laughter and mental health are closely related. People go to the movies to escape reality and be absorbed in the outrageous world of comedy. So, if happiness brings healthiness then what should we do as women today to stay happy and healthy?
This is a good question and deserves a good answer. Being happy is not a surface result. Happiness starts in your heart, literally.
We'll start with what we have already been discussing, LAUGHTER.
Laughing is contagious, making others happy.
Laughter protects your heart, the muscles used to laugh improves the function of blood vessels.
Laughter relieves stress, and releases happy endorphins making which will improve your mood.
So if Laughter is good for your soul, making the heart rejoice why not find more way to bring laughter to your life?
There is a published book entitled, 'Feelings buried alive never die'. In this book you will find common everyday ailments linked to emotions. This may seem far fetched, but if you think about that expression it really makes a lot of sense. If you hold onto things, in a begrudge manner, the negative feelings you have will eventually effect you, and your mental health at some points depending on the situation also your physical health. If we are feeling hateful or ugly toward someone in our life, lets step back and think about all the positive things about the person and remember good times had with them- if any- and if at all possible forgive from your heart. Forgiving and forgetting are often easier said then done. Something to remember is depending on the person and the situation it is not always healthy to forget. Forgiveness is vital for out health, but forgetting is not always the right rout, if we have been wronged in a serious manner by someone it may be the best practice to avoid association with this person.
Sometimes the person we have to forgive is ourselves! To be a happy healthy women tomorrow, you must forgive yesterday.
We can not go back in time, no matter how much we want to, but we have control over tomorrow, so start today on the road of forgiveness, weather it is a matter of forgiving someone else, or simply ourselves.

- Willingness to forgive.
Enjoy the time you spend with your family. Our children are only young ONCE. The time we have with our kids will only come around once in our lifetime. Are we soaking up our kids? The best gift you can give your child is a good example. Yes, your time and your love will mold who your children grow up to be. When it comes to your children and the time spent with them remember L O V E
LISTEN, Listen when you child wants to talk. This will set the pattern for when they get older and you want to know what is going on in their life. This will set the pattern for your kids knowing that no matter what, mommy will always listen.
Observe, Observe your child's daily behavior to know how to handle them. Every child is different and our iteration with our kids will be different with each one. Get to know their likes and dislikes and be interested.
Value, Show your family you value them. Text your husband little sweet nothings throughout the day just so he knows you are thinking about him. Leave notes in your kids lunch boxes so that when they are under the influence of the kids they are subject to daily they know you were thinking about them and in turn they will be thinking about you. Remember that your kids are never too old for this and it may be even more important as they get older.
Eat together, Statistics show that families who daily eat together have happier healthier kids, stronger family ties and more successful marriages.
The things just mentioned is nothing new. These are things we all know and maybe are just too busy to do. Slow down and enjoy your family, this will bring a wealth of happiness to you and your family.
By changing simple daily activities you can greatly increase your happiness, living longer not only in years but living a fuller life and getting the most out of it.
Laugh more, you will spread happiness to others. You will also relieve stress, increase joy and help your heart.
Forgive others and yourself. Do not let hate and hurt guide your life, take control and decide your tomorrow.
Love your family, love yourself. Love is a major source of happiness.
In today's world we need everything possible to increase our happiness and healthiness, start within yourself, you will reap great rewards.
